Ryan Davis graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in business administration and started his flooring career on the manufacturer side, joining Mohawk Flooring and earning a place at Mohawk University in Dalton, Georgia. That training covered every major product line — hardwood, carpet, luxury vinyl plank, tile, and laminate — and it still shapes the honest product advice you get from The Flooring House today.

From there, Ryan worked with flooring companies across the country on residential, commercial, and builder projects. He credits most of what he knows to time spent shoulder to shoulder with his installation crews, learning each job from tear-out through installation to the final trim details. It’s the reason he can look at a room in Lake Wylie and tell you which floor will actually hold up in it.

Today Ryan owns and operates The Flooring House in Greater Charlotte, where he and his wife are raising their two children. It is a genuinely family-owned business: real samples brought to your home, a free in-home estimate on your schedule, and the owner’s name behind every installation.
